What We Do

We believe that all children regardless of background and circumstance should have access to sport and professional sporting events.

That’s why, thanks your generosity, we support community projects, local sports groups and provide full match day experiences for children and young people.

Match day experiences at Celtic Park.

Since season 2010/2011 we have been giving kids a matchday experience they will never forget by providing them with a modern-day ‘lift over the turnstile’. Working with groups, schools, and individuals from all over the UK and Ireland, we’re giving them the opportunity to attend Celtic games and experience professional sporting events.

But that’s not all! .

Every Kano Foundation matchday is a special moment and our matchday volunteers ensure every kid who comes to an event with The Kano Foundation has the best time possible

If it’s a 3pm kick off everyone receives lunch which we eat together at The Kano Foundation’s base. We provide every kid with their own goodie bag which includes the all important Kano Foundation green and white scarf! After some health and safety tips, some songs, and making sure the kids are excited it’s off to the game. Our volunteers guide the children safely round to the Celtic Park family stand where they’re seated for the game.

We’ll stay with your group all through the game and are on hand to help with any issues.

How do match day experiences work?

If you’d like to come along to a game or event with us it’s easy. All you have to do is fill in our application form here on our website and one of our team will get back to you.

We provide the whole experience to your group free of charge including tickets but there are some things you should know:

  • The only cost incurred by your group will be getting to and from the venue.
  • All children attending MUST BE under 13 years old or under.
  • Tickets are distributed on a one adult to six children ratio (for 4yrs – 8yrs) and one adult to eight children (for 9yrs – 12yrs).
  • The Kano Foundation is not responsible or liable for your group during your time with us so you must follow all policies and procedures relevant to your group.

We regret that due to the location of our seats in Celtic Park we can not directly accommodate anyone who needs to use a wheelchair. However, if you provide us with details of the requirements on your application form we will try our best to make alternative arrangements.

If you require any further information please do not hesitate to get in touch at [email protected].
