Celebrating 14,000 Kano kids!

We know that football can have a profound impact on children. It can help to build confidence, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, and provide a sense of belonging and purpose.

Unfortunately, not all children have the opportunity to experience the joy of attending professional sporting events, especially a game at Celtic Park. That’s exactly where The Kano Foundation comes in.

Since 2010, the Kano Foundation has been dedicated to providing children with the opportunity to attend a live football game.

Founded by a group of passionate Celtic fans, in memory of our patron Martin Kane, the organisation has grown over the years, and we are proud to announce that we have now ‘lifted’ 14,000 children over the turnstile to see Celtic play.

Attending a professional football game is an exciting and unforgettable experience, and we are so happy to have been able to provide this opportunity to so many children.

As we celebrate this milestone, we want to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us along the way. From our dedicated volunteers to the generous donors who have made this all possible, we could not have reached this point without your support.
